Robert Wood Frank
With a brain wired for theatre,
I believe that if you work hard and treat people well,
good things can happen.
Robert Wood Frank is a Twin Cities based stage performer and actor. He cares deeply about the importance of live performance, and of physically embodied, truthful acting. He hopes to never stop learning.
In the Twin Cities, Robert has enjoyed working locally with Jackdonkey Productions and Trademark Theater. Some of his favorite recent credits include Anne Boleyn (Guthrie Dowling Studio), The Winter's Tale (Shakespeare's Globe Education), Hamlet, Describe the Night, The Bakkhai, This is Our Youth, Off-Kilter (group-devised), Slips, Spice, and Edelweiss (devised clown piece) and The Dumbwaiter (Jackdonkey Productions).
Robert has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Minnesota / Guthrie BFA Actor Training Program. He also considers himself fortunate enough to have trained with such institutions as Minneapolis' Guthrie Theatre, London's Shakespeare's Globe, The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon, as well as the wonderful Dell 'Arte International School of Physical Theatre in Blue Lake, California. All of which he considers fundamental to the actor, performer, and person he has become today.
